Hyaluronic acid supports skin properties, improves smoothness and elasticity of the skin, while also nourishing it. It also contributes to the possible reduction of wrinkles, deeply hydrates the skin, and plays an indispensable role in the regeneration of skin cells.In addition, another substantial part of it is involved in the production of synovial fluid – joint lubricant, which reduces friction between joint surfaces and decreases the overall load on the joints.Hyaluronic acid is naturally produced by the body throughout life. With increasing age, own production decreases. The first significant decrease begins after the 25th.In the first year of life and around 60 years, it produces about 40% of the original value.
